No Progress

Well, I have no news to report on the baby progress. Every day we wait for any sign of labor, and I've got nothing. He has definitely "dropped" but I am only slightly dilated and am having no real contractions. So, I am convinced we will have to wait until this Friday when my doctors have to give him the signal to come on out. We realized that this weekend was the last kid-free weekend of our entire lives, so we tried to make the best of it. Monte went golfing, I slept in until 10 o'clock both days, we went on a wonderful dinner date, and hung with friends by the pool. It was a perfectly relaxing weekend before our world is turned upside down by our little guy. My parents are coming into town this weekend and I couldn't be more excited to see them and to see how they take to being grandparents. It is going to be so cool. So, I am going to try and savor these last few nights of quiet, restful sleep before baby. I can hardly think about anything else- especially working! But, I suppose it keeps me busy so I will make it through these last couple of days. We head to the hospital Thursday at 7:30 pm to get this show on the road, so I will post pictures and updates as soon as I can. Monte will keep everyone updated on the arrival time and details, but it's looking like September 12th will be the day!
