La FawnDuh

To celebrate the first day of summer, Molly and I decided to begin the season with a fresh look. We each went to our prospective salons and received pampering in the form of deep conditioning treatments, haircuts, and pedicures. I think I got a raw deal because I came out looking exactly the same—except with a much lighter wallet (Waaaaaaaallet- ha!), while Molly had a total transformation. So, without further adieu, I present to you...the gorgeous, the always-chic, the forever-fabulous...Miss Molly Farrar debuting her “summer puppy cut.”

She looks exactly like a miniature fawn. When I saw her, I immediately called her Bambi and she was terribly embarrassed for the rest of the day. I think she was pretty pissed at me until she started running around, and then remembered the feeling of actually being able to move her legs without the mess of dreadlocks getting in her way. She instantly forgot about being mad at me for cutting her hair and making fun of her, and focused on how much better she felt. Now she loves it and doesn't even mind that I now introduce her as "La-Fawn-Duh," my pet baby deer.
